What is Areopagus?

Areopagus is a campus ministry based on these propositions:

  • The Christian message has continuing relevance to the context of higher education
  • Learning and faith should work together and complement each other in the Christian life
  • The work we do at the university—learning, teaching, researching and serving—should be an integral part of our Christian walk

We offer regular programming for faculty, staff, graduate students and undergraduates.

The Areopagus ministry director is Randy Gabrielse (Ph.D., Michigan State, 2002). He can be reached at RandyG@isu-areopagus.org or
(515) 290-0607.

Farewell Party for Randy

Members of the congregation and participants in the ministry are invited to come and help say thanks to Randy and Karen for their five years of service on the campus, in the congregation and in the community.

During a short program we will give people an opportunity to say a few words of thanks to Randy and Karen.

If you are unable to attend, you may send a card or message care of Trinity Christian Reformed Church, 3626 Ontario, Ames, IA 50014.
